Installation Information
The Mini Maxx V2 is a delete-only tuner designed for off-road, race, and agricultural use. You must remove the emissions systems after installation.

Before Installation:

You will need a battery charger capable of supplying at least 10A steady; without this, you risk damaging your PCM.

Make sure you do not have any emissions-related error messages on the dash; these messages can only be cleared with the truck 100% stock.

ALWAYS install the tuner before installing any hard parts

Installation

Connect your battery charger, then connect the tuner. Once powered on, just follow the on-screen instructions until the installation is complete.

After the tuner has been installed, you can start the engine and let it run for 15-20 seconds just to verify there are no error messages or CELs.

After confirming there are no issues, you will need to physically remove the DEF/DPF/SCR section of the exhaust. Leave any sensors in these pipes and disconnect the connectors. [We recommend packing the connectors with dielectric grease and taping them up to prevent future corrosion]

The EGR system must either be fully removed or at least disconnected

Ford & RAM - Unplug the throttle valve in the fully open position

*2018+ RAMs require a bypass cable (#42215). You must use this bypass cable. This bypass cable comes with a replacement OBD Box and USB cable. Replace the OBD box that comes with the Mini Maxx with this bypass version with the red stripe. You will only use this OBD box on 18+ RAMs. Connect one end of the USB cable into the port on the side of the OBD box and the other side to the green connector behind the dash into the 5th port down on the connector closest to the driver's seat. Do not update the Mini Maxx with BD software, those instructions are only for their tuners
